As a book author and writer I think I have found a true center and calling.
 As a man I have found my rich spiritual life in the Ontic Manifesto detailed below.

Left Latvia when I was only nine months old to escape the Communist invasion and ended up in an American displaced persons camp in Wurzburg Germany. Then, at age seven, emigrated to Lachine, Quebec, a then west end suburb city of Montreal. In the beginning had my problems with being the "foreign punk" among a rather homogeneous group of anglophones but it is also then that is my earliest recollection of a prophetic vision. Still, managed to grow up there, have good memories, and graduate from Lachine High School. Did first year Engineering at McGill University and then on to night school and a career as an auditor. The Chartered Accountancy field didn't turn me on so I entered the business world and spent many years as a company comptroller. The bright part of that period is that I continued my education at night and got my Bachelor of Commerce from Sir George Williams University, now known as Concordia University.

Escaped Quebec to avoid the vanguard of another invasion, the French separatist, and resettled here in Mississauga, a suburb of Toronto. The trauma of pulling up boyhood roots and moving to Toronto created stronger inner connections and started my true appreciation of higher meanings of life and self. Also soon escaped the daily drudgery of being cooped up to work in an office all day as an accountant by becoming an outside salesman. Never became financially rich as a salesman but the many companies I worked for gave me a very rich and fulfilling appreciation of life and the naked ape. The sales experience did prompt a very short excursion at my own jewelry company. Tried independence by starting up my own company as a mortgage broker just in time to have the 1990 recession kill it. So pulled up my socks and spent many years in my own web design and creation company to only have to give it up in 2000 because every college student was now offering to do pages at $8-10 a page. So it was on to inside sales to make a living. Now fortunately I can call myself retired and enjoy writing just for the pleasure of it.

FOR WHAT IT'S WORTH...

Am still single (as they say, close only counts at horseshoes, hand grenades, and hydrogen bombs) and still dreaming of finding love and my soulmate (some people are just eternally romantically optimistic.) On the positive side I tend to be friendly, easy going, and amiable. My main interest is my books. Other current interests are Mensa, exploring the world of the psychic, my computer and the internet, reading to explore new avenues (especially about the mind and the human condition), and in keeping the body together by studying Nia, Tai Chi and other exercise regimes like the 1977 Royal Canadian Air Force 5 BX Plan. Much enjoy picnics, long walks, educational TV, dancing, community involvement and good company.

In the past have had some interest in, and in no special order; both downhill and cross country skiing, health food and lore, karate, camping, drawing and crafts, racquetball, photography, line dancing , weight training, orienteering, hiking, chess, science fiction, electronics, listening to folk music.

*A "loonie" is the Canadians' affectionate name for our dollar coin.

AND INTO THE FUTURE 

My life now is about writing and spreading the word. It is therefore appropriate to here voice some thoughts on the creative process.

I probably qualify for the "unbalanced" part but what I write is what I have researched. My writing is my take, my spin, on what I have found. In the mold of the normal masses, I am a researcher or "gatherer" who then reshapes to my perspective. I also work to the Nikolai Narrative description as found in my first book RnR Runes and Remedies. It is the Muses speaking to me and then my corrupt attempts to put it into words. In my defense, there has to be at least a slight tingling of genius in me, a genius I share with many others. We have been able to overcome our genetic programming that tells us to believe in an ethereal alpha entity.

RnR Runes and Remedies Grew up a "scientific type" where it had to be explainable by the science of the day or of course it just did not exist. Orwellian "double think" took care of anomalies just as it still does today for those who are "challenged," challenged as adherents to handicapped scientific rote rather than reason. The truth did win out for me and eventually led to the study of psychic Runes and their magic. A social aside observation is that generally as people get older, their roots become more and more important to them as the impetuousness of youth runs down. Runes are part of my cultural heritage. NOTE: While my initial interest was piqued by the esoteric meaning of the psychic Runes I came to understand that the Runes meant much more to the early oral culture that originated them. It also ensconced their moral code, a code still relevant today as humans haven't changed in such an evolutionary short time. At first it was just reading about Runes; and that led to serious study. As it is sometimes wont to be, study resulted in insight which led writing the book RnR - Runes and Remedies. RnR - Runes and Remedies is a complete treatise on everything needed to do runecasts with explanations of the individual runestones. It is different in that it clearly shows the interrelationship of the individual runes, a relationship that other authors have not seen. My original book did not include a section on Rune Healing which has been added since. MY SPIRITUALITY

Ontic is defined by the dictionary to mean "the ultimate truth" but that definition notwithstanding the two physically impossible triangles that are intertwined to make up the Ontic symbolize the impossibly intertwined and almost inscrutable nature of humanity and our world.

The Way of Flow for Naturalistic Spirituality

Most atheists recognize that the gods of religion are fantasized (and so perfect) ethereal alpha-males. But they then sometimes make the mistake of rejecting everything related to established religion. To me that is the proverbial "throwing out the baby with the bathwater." Religions did not develop in isolation from the human condition and reality. Relatively recently researchers found the genetic component of religion, the VMAT2 gene, and its forebrain adjunct the "God Module." This shows that the core human values that religions ascribe to are fundamental truths adjusted to the contemporary ecology. Religions just err in what they attribute as the source. The Manifesto Ontic Movement (or more simply just the Ontic Manifesto) is my elucidation of the soul and what there really is. "The times they are a changin" so the Ontic Movement is the Flow of a living journey and dynamic quest for ever changing discovery and greater self-actualization. As an illustrative example of historic error. Combustion today we know as a thermal chemical reaction. Before this was understood the educated scientific view was that certain matter contained "phlogistons" and that burning was the release of these phlogistons.  Burning is very real, just our thinking about the underlying theory has evolved. Spirituality is the same way. Spirituality, including many of what are considered religious tenets, exists but just like phlogistons we erroneously describe the source as a god. Gods can be called the phlogiston theory of spirituality. Intelligent thinking is to believe in spiritually and leave behind the troglodyte thinking of believing in gods!

The explanation of our spirituality comes from the human genetics of our being social animals. This state is not in isolation but is ameliorated by what is explained in the Ontic Manifesto as the Ether Universe or W World. In plain terms it what is known as the psychic affects us. The second half of the Ontic Manifesto is W-Universe Unfolding and is a cosmology that supports the Ontic Trinity Creed.

Excerpt from the opening of the Manifesto Ontic Movement:

"Ontic is defined in the dictionary as the ultimate truth and here it describes the study of the ultimate nature of our universe, as we perceive it. Today many people utilize our human Higher Self intellectual prowess ability to understand the truth about religion and the non-existence of an ethereal alpha-male god. Religion as practiced today is mid/animal brain thinking of following through and acting upon genetic generated propensities. Central to this current religious practice is the VMAT2 gene and its satellite sibling 'God Module' in the forebrain, with then parental and social push giving it credibility for adherents in well socialized and socially controlled daily lives. People in the lowest social echelon espouse the classic lower class 'them' god and as an atheist I want to do more than just say that I am above this lowest proletariat class thinking. As someone who prides himself as an independent thinker I want to do more and say what I do believe in. The Ontic is the guidepost symbol of a journey on the path to know the truth about ourselves and our lives. 

"As a note for those who may not have come across this before: science divides the human brain into roughly three parts or stages that are all interconnected. Our brain's most basic component is the innermost core reptilian brain which reflects who we are furthest down on the evolutionary scale. Then comes the 'animal' or mammalian brain that grew on top to extend functionality and facilitate the existence of the creatures in the next evolutionary stage. Finally very roughly about two million years ago,concurrent with our discowery of controling fire and cooking, the human line broke off from the animal line and we grew our human forebrain, the neocortex or grey matter which is now the bulk of the brain in two symmetrical hemispheres, on top of the animal brain. Physically as animals we are pretty puny and evolving a conscious, thinking forebrain is what gave us our evolutionary advantage.

"In the best religious church tradition the Manifesto will first concern itself with a Trinity Creed of spirituality and morality. Then again in good religious church tradition a genesis to support that creed is explored in W-Universe Unfolding."

My earliest recollection of actively contemplating the human condition go back to my pre-teen years. I came across the gag line: "Man, a strange animal whose head swells when you pat his back" and I couldn't stop thinking about the actual truth behind it. A later realization, on a completely different philosophic bend, was that people often said things without realizing the implications in the background. "He who hesitates is lost" and "Everything comes to him who waits" was a trigger. This consciously put me on the track that there is often a hidden implied time frame to aphorisms rather than contradiction. Things like this have put me on a life journey of watching the human condition; the antics and foibles of the naked ape.

On a practical note I also became interested in personality types and what this means. Directly below is an early program that I did to determine what your personality type is according to a popular four trait model that gives sixteen personality types. (The source material that I based this program on is in the pdf file.) The test is included here because by eliminating the second trait you now have the three trait model of the  Neo-Enneagram as primarily described in Accessing Awen. Below you can look at a detailed analysis of the Neo-Enneagram as either a PDF or MS Reader file. Directly after the test is a short summary of what your Neo-Enneagram type is according to the traits.

Neo-Enneagram The Neo-Enneagram is a study of personality types that is very important in manifesting. You must know how you relate to the world so as not to ask for the wrong things. If your personality is that of a "back room boy" that organizes and gets things done then don't ask the Law of Attraction to make you the knight in shining armor that is leading the charge. Your subconscious mind that knows you well will thwart any such incompatible request. Knowing your personality type does not mean that you cannot be anything you want to be (people do display different personality types in different environments), it is just means you might have to do some extra steps to achieve your goal.
